As the haze clears from your mind and eyes you slowly make your way to the edge of the nearby ridge. A broad plain lays before you, and in the distance is a great ocean. You turn to see what is in the other direction. In the distance, spanning the horizon is the dark uprise of a range of mountains. You turn once again to look out at the setting sun on the ocean only to be face-to-face with someone you have never met before. The man is youthful looking. Jet colored hair falls in silky tangles upon his shoulders and falls into his face. Dark, piercing eyes glare at you, almost in an odd hatred. He stands tall, a kingly stature. Dark colored robes whose colors seem to always change when you stare, fall about his feet. The long, dangling sleeves slightly cover his hands. The hilt of a sword pokes out about his shoulders, making all aware of his ability not only in the arts of Magick, but also in combat. After a moment of analyzing you thoroughly the man speaks. "Aken tave lithe?" Not knowing the language, a puzzled look arches your eyebrows and you open your mouth to speak. He interupts you before you have a chance to speak saying: "Kerga mor'dak nuhad volgar?" An even more puzzled look crosses your face. He stands there, as if awaiting an answer and you say: "What is your name?" He looks at you in utter disgust as he turns his back to you. He yells out "Sikar!" and two horses that you neglected to notice before come running. He mounts one of the horses and turns the horse to look at you. "You comming?" He asks. You nod in a pathetic manner and mount the other horse. He points out toward a tower on the horizon and kicks the horse into motion. "We ride now, nightfall will come soon. I can survive the Dark Hours. Can you?" The last few words are almost a challenge as the two of you fly toward the high tower.

creator of this world you now walk. I am the god who made this all happen.
You are a foreigner here and as so, you are limited in your rights and
abilities in my world. You are in the city-state of Dryden where my son,
Lance, is Emperor. The laws that apply to all of Dryden's citizens, now
also apply to you, so I advise you to take a look at the laws of Aurelius'
and the "Dryden li Foedus" ("Law Scrolls of Dryden"). I also want
to take this moment to welcome you. Aurelius is a realm of magick, war,
empires, and Gods. Your presence here may bring hardships upon you since
you are a foreigner, and therefore of a weaker race. But I say this only
to aid you, not to frighten you away. Please feel free to explore Aurelius
at your leisure as long as you keep within the codes of the empires, cities,
or towns you may happen to stumble upon. As your first order of business
in this world, you are to seek out the man who brought you to this world.
The man who is the Emperor of Dryden. Magus Kazriv Xertiea. He will help
you through the hardest time in your entrance to Aurelius, becoming accepted.

Aurelius is an RPG that I created with some help from a few very talented people. I would first off like to say thank you to Krysta who, without her help, this entire SL would not be possible. The citizens of Aurelius truely hate foreigners and ignore or torment (which ever catches their fancy at the moment) them until they have been instated as official Aurelians.
